However the following morning we would wait anxiously and excited not just by the fact we were about to go to the airport and away on holiday, but because Benny our Chauffeur (who we only saw 5 to 6 times a year, when holidaying), would arrive at the door, pristinely presented and wearing a chauffeur’s hat, he would load up our luggage, open the doors for each of us and he would always have some refreshments…, or games for us to play in the back of the car. When we arrived at the airport it felt as if we were royalty, with our chauffeur Benny, opening the doors for us, loading up our luggage and bags onto a trolley and escorting us to the check in desk. Those days I will never forget!
